Our Story
Since 1967, we have been dedicated to artisanal work and hand craftsmanship.

Dutch Made’s legacy began in 1967 in Grabill, Indiana with two men working by gas light in a chicken coop. Founded by Martin Graber and committed to creating beautiful, artisan cabinets with time-honored techniques, they quickly outgrew the space and moved into a larger facility in the early 70s.
In the following decades, Dutch Made Custom Cabinetry became a nation-wide name as its dealer program expanded. As styles and techniques changed, Dutch Made expanded its capabilities and added European lines, curved cabinetry, new door styles, and inset cabinetry.
The 1990s brought national notoriety by being selected as a featured booth at the Kitchen and Bath Show in 1992 and 1993, leading to features in Country Living and Woman’s Day magazines, as well as features in This Old House. Throughout every change, Dutch Made remained rooted in its core values of craftsmanship and design.

In 2019, Dutch Made entered a new chapter with a change in ownership, committed to realigning the company’s core values. The renewed emphasis was on reestablishing the brand’s heritage of craftsmanship and artisan traditions. In addition, it became a priority to return to the attributes of innovation and bespoke design that set Dutch Made apart for so many decades, as well as continuously improve the product and customer experience. Over the next few years, significant investments were made to bring this vision to life.
For nearly sixty years, we have operated under the philosophy that if you can dream it, we can build it.
Today, our commitment to hand craftsmanship and furniture-grade product remains as strong as ever. Partnering with our dealers to bring their vision to life is the foundation of our craft, and we’re honored to be a trusted partner for projects in homes around the country.
